The Holiday Season is quickly approaching! MP Serré thanks the many community organizations and volunteers across Nickel Belt – Greater Sudbury for spearheading fundraising and donation campaigns to help those most vulnerable enjoy some festive spirit. Here is a look at some of the community engagement that took place in November:

- MP Serré returned to Ottawa, to the House of Commons for the Opening of the 44th Parliament and for a national caucus meeting
- MP Serré met with his colleagues from the Indigenous Caucus to reconvene on important Indigenous issues
- Marc continues to meet with his Constituency Office staff, residents, stakeholders, municipal leaders, Indigenous communities, not-for-profit, local entrepreneurs and more, to keep the pulse on the priorities in the region
- Marc continues his role as Chair of the Canadian Section of ParlAmericas
- Marc stood in the House of Commons to acknowledge the tragic loss of the Honourable Senator Josée Forest-Niesing
- Marc met with representative from the N’Swakamok Friendship Centre to discuss Federal funding opportunities
- Marc toured M&G Fencing in Azilda to learn more about the needs of small businesses
- Marc participated in the annual Keeping Seniors Warm fundraiser
- Marc attended the opening of the new West Nipissing OPP detachment site
- Marc met with Raoul Servant, a WW2 Veterans on his experience with Veterans Affairs
- Marc participated in Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 503 in Onaping Falls and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 553 in Chelmsford
- Marc met with Helen Francis, President, and Board Chair – Kristian Gareau of the North Eastern YMCA for an update on the organization’s ongoings
- Marc met with Joanne Gervais from l’Association canadienne française de l’Ontario
- Marc met with Alex Surca, Manager of Government Relations and Melissa Greco, Manage of Government Relations from Xplornet to discuss opportunities for expanded broadband in Nickel Belt – Greater Sudbury
- Marc met with Dr. Penny Sutcliffe Medical Officer of Health and Chief Executive Officer and Sandra Laclé, Director of Health Promotion Division, about the region’s COVID-19 and health profile
- Marc attended CEMI’S launch of the Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator, which the Federal government supported with $40 million in July 2021
- Marc met with owners Krista and Kevin from Dominion Construction in Capreol to further understand small business and labour needs
- Marc met with Les Lisk from Coniston and Oliva Roy from Chelmsford, to discuss urgent need for affordable seniors’ housing
- Marc met with Wahnapitae First Nation Chief Roque concerning priorities and projects
- Marc participated in the Goshenite and Desimone Shoe and Spa collaborative launch of the Stockings for Seniors
- MP Serré met with Sam Gilchrist, Executive Director of the Gwekwaadziwin Miikan Youth Mental Health and Addictions Program under the United Chiefs & Councils of Mnidoo Mnissing
