Today Marc G. Serré, MP for Nickel Belt, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages is sharing that the intake process of the new Employment Assistance Services Stream of the Enabling Fund for Official Language Minority Communities (EF-OLMC), as part of the Action Plan for Official Languages is now open until June 20th 2024.
This funding opportunity aims to support Official Language Minority Communities (OLMC) organizations by identifying and delivering Employment Assistance Services (EAS) to English-speaking communities in Quebec, and Francophone communities outside Quebec in their first official language. This includes job search and placement assistance, counselling, case management, and unassisted services to help individuals prepare for, obtain and/or maintain employment.
