Nickel Belt-Greater Sudbury - May 30^th 2023 – Marc G. Serré, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages and Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt, visited co-owners Charlynn and Carmen Talarico of the Noelville Family Resort, following a FedNor investment of $99,750 to modernize and expand their facilities.

Specifically, the FedNor funding will be used to establish five new camping lots for recreational vehicles. The work being completed includes site preparation, building a road and overflow parking lot with charging stations for electric vehicles.

The funding will also support infrastructure upgrades such as wastewater, hydro, streetlights, and portable water lines for the new lots. Once complete, this priority project will support the long-term sustainability of the resort by helping them to increase occupancy and revenue.

The announcement was made on April 28^th by the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for FedNor and provided through FedNor’s core programs and the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund (TRF).
