Today, MP Serre shares that a new initiative, Age Well at Home, will deliver practical support to help low-income and otherwise vulnerable seniors continue to live safely, independently and comfortably in their own homes and communities.

After a lifetime of hard work, seniors want and deserve to live healthy, safe and independent lives. Today’s announcement will help them do that.

The federal grants and contributions will help support seniors with at-home tasks such as home maintenance, transportation, meal preparation, help with groceries, snow removal and much more.

Organizations are invited to apply for the In-Home Support Pilot Projects stream and the Scaling Up for Seniors stream of the Age Well at Home initiative until July 22, 2022.
