MP Serré shares the launch of public consultations for the upcoming Action Plan for Official Languages to ensure it accurately reflects the realities, challenges and priorities of Canadians regarding official languages.

The consultations, led by Honorable Minister Petitpas Taylor and Parliamentary Secretary Marc Serré, began on May 23^rd and will extend until August 25^th. Consultations will take place virtually, in person across the country and online through surveys.

It is hoped that the consultations help to create more opportunities for students to become bilingual, strengthen the institutions and infrastructure that serve official language minority communities, and build a more bilingual Canada.
