Nickel Belt communities benefitting from water infrastructure investments

NICKEL BELT – GREATER SUDBURY – From roads and community centres to public transit and water and wastewater systems – investments in infrastructure build strong and healthy communities.

Marc G. Serré, MP for Nickel Belt and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages is further highlight important Federal funding investments made by the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities.

The Government of Canada recently invested more than $190.2 million in 144 projects across Ontario, through the Green Infrastructure Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. This translates to over $3.5 million in support of 3 Nickel Belt communities:
