MP Serré announces Celebrate Canada Days 2021 funding in Nickel Belt – Greater Sudbury

NICKEL BELT – GREATER SUDBURY- Today, Marc G. Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources announced
$20,750 in funding for 5 local projects which will take place in communities around the riding during Celebrate Canada Days 2021. MP Serré made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage.

Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre

NORMHC Celebrates Canada Day

The Celebrate Canada program supports festivities taking place from June 21 to July 1 throughout the country. This period of celebration features National Indigenous Peoples Day, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day—Fête nationale du Québec and the Francophonie canadienne, Canadian Multiculturalism Day and Canada Day.

The Government of Canada has funded nearly 1,500 projects and activities across the country through the Celebrate Canada program. Canadians will have many opportunities to come together in their community to celebrate what makes our country so remarkable.
