Hello Nickel Belt - Greater Sudbury!
Spring is just around the corner and we can’t wait for warmer weather! Here are some updates on the many ways MP Serré worked hard for your region in February:
Important news from the Hill:
MP Serré participated in various meetings and community events:
- MP Serré met with constituent André Courschene and learned more about his local business in West Nipissing
- MP Serré met with Les Gamble and Fern Dominelli from the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board to discuss unique housing needs and challenges of Northern Ontario
- MP Serré met with members of the Club Richelieu in Sturgeon Falls and Sénatrice Moncion
- MP Serré met with directors from YMCA Northeastern Ontario to discuss local and national priorities
- MP Serré met with Mike Klassen, VP at BC Care Providers Association and Board member of the Canadian Association for Long Term Care to discuss long-term care for seniors and opportunities to advance the National Seniors Strategy
- MP Serré met representatives from IAMGOLD to discuss the Coté Gold project in the Gogama area
- MP Serré attended a citizenship ceremony at Cambrian College and welcomed over 100 new Canadians
- MP Serré met with a Columbian Delegation and local stakeholders to discuss advancing mutually beneficial relationships regarding trades and export
- MP Serré met with representatives from the Canadian Labour Council to discuss policy and framework that supports all Canadian workers
- MP Serré took various phone meetings with constituents to understand their concerns on topics such as long-term care, infrastructure, gun control, Veterans affairs and much more
